New President Named at Tiedemann Globe
Tony Tiedemann, founder of Phoenix-based Tiedemann Globe, Inc. one of the largest exporters of used clothes in the U.S., has named Amy Tiedemann President of Tiedemann Globe, Inc.
Mr. Tiedemann, who started the company in 1998, is now Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, which also sells wiping rags and vintage clothes. In 2009 Tiedemann started the Clean Energy Foundation, which develops renewable, clean energy solutions and products.
Tiedemann said the change will allow him to have more time to concentrate on the renewable energy side of the business. “We have a solid team ready for the next level of growth personally and professionally,” he said. “Under Amy’s direction, I’m confident that the company will meet the needs of our customers, continuously improve and grow.”
In her previous role as Senior Vice President, Ms. Tiedemann hired, trained, developed and set up systems for mid-management employees. She manages Raghouse.com, a website devoted to the sale of vintage clothing, Tiedemann Industrial Supply (TIS), a longtime supplier of wiping rags and industrial products, and the clothing collection department.Ms. Tiedemann is responsible for aggressive expansion and growth.
